While money isn't likely to hinder one's fashion sense, it is not required. However, I am a huge fan of the imperfect... Sometimes the lack of funds forces true fashionistas to get creative and results in a truly original look. The next time you find yourself wishing you could have the it-bag, take a moment to step back and think about how to work with what you do have. Hit up mom's closet or a thrift store for a great scarf and tie it around a bag you already have and feel confident about wearing something all your own. After all, if you blow all your cash on the latest bag you might not have any money left to carry it anywhere fun.
